Motoman Robotics, a frontline industrial robots manufacturing firm, has recently signed a technological collaboration agreement with Tech-Con Automation Inc (TCA), a leading industrial automation systems integrator based in Burlington, Ontario in Canada. The agreement will focus on the integration of water-jet cutting cells for the customers of Motoman Robotics in North America. Motoman uses water-jet cutting technology to trim automotive headliners and other components. Motoman Robotics will leverage TCA’s expertise in integrating robotics and the pump equipment needed in the application. Along with the integration of the water-jet cutting cells, TCA will also handle Motoman’s service contracts, and retrofit all its existing water-jet cutting systems in automotive applications. Motoman Robotics has taken the decision to support its existing installed base in the water-jet technology market. Prior to this latest agreement, TCA was a long-term solutions partner to Motoman Robotics. With the technological collaboration with TCA, Motoman is expecting to increase its customer base in the region and promote its high-tech solutions successfully. |
