Chinese automobile manufacturer Shanghai Automobile Industry Corporation (SAIC) has unveiled its plan to set up a new manufacturing facility in the Hebei Province. Considering the growing demand for alternatively powered vehicles in Northern China, the facility will manufacture hybrid buses and other electrically powered vehicles. To work out its plan, SAIC has already signed a strategic collaboration deal with the government of Tangshan, Hebei Province. The facility will be located in Caofeidian Economic Development Zone in Bohai Bay. |
