MetalCo enhances product quality with latest technology

MetalCo, a subsidiary of renowned UK retail group West TMC, has made an investment of £300,000 to upgrade its sheet metal workshop and production facility. The company has installed a computerised metal punching machine and a robotic welding cell under this upgrade programme. According to the official spokesperson of MetalCo, the investments in upgrading technology will have long-term benefits in terms of reduced lead times, process flexibility and quality consistency.



Through the implementation of these automated machines, the company has reportedly undertaken considerable value addition across its services and products. Currently, the newly installed machinery is being used for almost all operations. According to Robert Shaw, Production Director, MetalCo, the investment has helped the company in terms of reduced lead times and quality, thus winning it tremendous appreciation from clients. At present, the clientele of MetalCo includes players from diverse industries—especially the FMCG, health and beauty, gaming, hardware and MP3 markets.
