Eaton Corp, Cleveland’s largest industrial manufacturer, has entered into a joint business venture in Abu Dhabi to produce components that will be marketed to powergeneration companies in the Middle East. This venture will make Eaton, a global supplier of power systems, hydraulics, aerospace and truck drive-train components, with SEG Middle East Power Solutions and Switchboard Manufacture LLC, which manufactures products such as lowvoltage switchboards and controlpanel assemblies.  SEG is an independent private company and the new company which is formed as a result of the joint venture, will focus more on the growing Middle Eastern markets. The product gallery of the company also includes automation equipment and systems, including industrial and residential electrical switches, instruments and control systems as well as low-voltage systems. At the same time, SEG also makes and sells power converter systems used in connection with wind power plants. Besides the Middle East, they also have their presence in Latin America. |
