 McNally Bharat Engineering Company Ltd, a leading engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor in the power, steel, material handling and non-ferrous sector, has procured new engineering contracts from NTPC-BHEL Power Projects Pvt Ltd, Tripura. McNally Bharat Engineering Company Ltd will provide a service package for a demineralised (DM) water system for a 2 X 363.3 MW power plant. The accomplishment of the project will cost NTPC-BHEL Power Projects a sum of Rs 9.91 crore. Official reports have also confirmed that a second contract involves a purchase order and work order for activities such as the design, supply, erection, and commissioning of a DM plant package for a 2 X 363.3 MW combined cycle power plant (CCPP) for the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Tripura Power Company (OTPC), Tripura for a total value of Rs 9.91 crore. The estimated timeline for the project is 17 months. The cost for both the projects has been estimated at around Rs 27.18 crore. The plants constructed by McNally Bharat Engineering Company Ltd will include pretreatment plant, sewerage treatment plant and effluent treatment plant.The step will play significant role in strengthening cooperation between the two countries. In addition, the Ministry of Information Technology proposes to increase the international trade of products such as PCs and networking hardware. |
