Bajaj Auto Ltd, a leading Indian automaker, has recently launched a new model of its Discover range of bikes in the Indian market. It is the first time that the company has launched the series in the 150cc engine capacity. The bike has been fitted with a new 150cc DTS engine which generates 13ps@7500 rpm. The maximum torque generation capacity of the bike is 12.75 Nm@5500 rpm, and has been redesigned keeping in mind Bharat Stage (BS) III emission norms.  The bike has been remodeled, while maintaining its fuel efficiency. According to the company’s claims, while its engine power has been scaled up by 50 cc from the earlier 100cc variant, Discover’s mileage has been maintained at 65kmpl, just like most of the other 100cc bikes available in the market. Other features include a five-speed gearbox, electric start, Nitrox suspension, disc brakes, and wider rear tyres. |
