Moreover, the device range has an inbuilt support for USB 2.0, which can be upgraded to USB 3.0, FireWire 800 or eSATA via the new GoFlex cable system. To further the usability of the GoFlex range, it has been provided with additional features such as multi-port HDDS and media players.

According to the official confirmed reports, the next extension to be released in line with the GoFlex range is GoFlex TV HD media player. The player will act as a link between tele and media, irrespective of whether it’s stored on the HDD, LAN or the internet.

The GoFlex Net media-sharing device basically operates by converting a USB mass storage device into a content storage device.
