The 9th China Plastics Exhibition & Conference (China PEC) 2009 will take place at the Taizhou International Convention & Exhibition Centre Luqiao, Taizhou City, in Zhejiang Province of China from September 17-19, 2009. Considered as one of the biggest trade shows for plastic products and moulds in China, the China PEC is supported by the Ministry of Commerce of China. There will be around 1,500 booths spanning over a total exhibition area of 35,000 square metres in the China PEC 2009.
Taizhou is popularly known as the Kingdom of plastic products and the hometown of moulds in China. Nearly 10,000 plastic manufacturers and 2,000 mould manufacturers reside in the Taizhou region, making it one the biggest plastic manufacturing bases in China.
China PEC 2009 will be jointly sponsored by SinoPec, one of the most prominent oil and petroleum organisation in China, PetroChina, a leading petroleum producing company in China, China Plastics Processing Industry Association (CPPIA), China Plastics Machine Industry Association (CPMIA) and Taizhou Municipal Government.
